Allow me to introduce myself: I am

Dr. Marie Ritter.

I am a social and IO psychologist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Industrial/Organizational and Social Psychology, TU Braunschweig, focusing on meetings and virtual collaboration, cooperation and knowledge transfer, and emergent group processes.

With a BA from Jacobs University Bremen, an MSc Res from the Universiteit van Amsterdam, and a Ph.D. from the University of Göttingen, I study interpersonal dynamics in the context of social and ecological sustainability. My work focuses on cooperation, knowledge transfer, and interpersonal dynamics at the micro-level — particularly in teams — and examines how collaboration and emergent group processes unfold over time in meetings and networks. Drawing on experimental, social, and applied psychology, I investigate how people coordinate, connect, and sustain effective working relationships to advance social sustainability — including collaboration, equity, and inclusion — as well as ecological sustainability in the context of circular
economy initiatives.
